After a year of experiencing remarkable advantages from my daily ginger detox shot, I decided to give beetroot juice a try. The best part about this recipe is its versatility, allowing you to personalize it with your favorite ingredients. I added the ingredients I typically use in my detox juices and ginger shots, and the result was surprisingly delicious!

Ingredients Needed

  • Raw Beetroot
  • Red Apple
  • Carrots
  • Lemon/Lime (I used lemon)
  • Fresh Ginger
  • Turmeric (I used turmeric powder but you can definitely use fresh turmeric)

How To Make This Recipe

  • Begin by washing and peeling the beetroot, carrot, and lemon. Do not peel the ginger or apple. Just make sure they are well-washed.
  • Slice all these ingredients into small, manageable pieces. This step makes it easier for your juicer to process them efficiently, ensuring you get every drop of liquid.
  • Add each prepared ingredient one by one, except for the turmeric, Once everything is juiced then introduce the turmeric and mix well. If you are using fresh turmeric then you will have to juice it with the rest of the ingredients.
  • Pour your beetroot shots into the 60ml bottles that I have inked for you below in the equipment needed section.

How To Make This Recipe With A Blender?

The process is fairly the same – you would wash, peel, and cut the ingredients but this time you would cut the ingredients into smaller chunks. You can leave the peel on the ginger but slice it into thin slices. Then follow these steps:

  • Add all your ingredients into a powerful blender (like this one HERE),apart from the turmeric powder, then add 1/2 cup of water and blend everything until smooth.
  • Using a sieve, pour the juice through the sieve and strain the juice into a large glass jar using the back of a tablespoon to get every single drop of juice. Then pour the juice into the 60ml glass shot bottles.

Tips for a Successful Morning Beetroot Shot

  • Consume it on an empty stomach in the morning for maximum benefits. This goes for any detox shot you take.
  • Experiment with different variations by adding other ingredients like orange, spinach, or honey for added nutrition and flavor.

  • Refrigerate: Keep your beetroot shot in the fridge with tightly sealed bottles.
  • Shake Before Use: Remember to shake it well before enjoying to mix any settled particles.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium Raw beetroots
  • 1 large Carrot
  • 1 large Red Apple
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 inch Fresh ginger
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder

Instructions

  • Wash and peel the beetroot, carrot, and lemon, leaving the ginger and apple unpeeled.

  • Slice all ingredients into small pieces for efficient juicing.

  • Juice all ingredients except turmeric. Mix in the turmeric afterward.

  • Pour the freshly made beetroot shots into 60ml bottles for easy storage.
